When was the first grey LEGO baseplate released?

The 700E Individual 10 x 20 Baseplate was the first grey LEGO baseplate, manufactured between 1953 and 1954. It was a 10 dot x 20 dot (8cm x 16cm or 3.2” x 6.4”) baseplate released as part of the LEGO Mursten range which also included red, green, blue, white and yellow baseplates of the same size.
